# CodePipelineAgentRole

What a code pipeline agent does. A step can name a role instead of an agent and run on any agent with that role.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in requests and responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"Architect"` | Plans and analyses the work. |
| `"Consolidator"` | Merges several perspectives into one plan or review verdict. |
| `"Reviewer"` | Reviews code and pull requests for gaps, correctness, security and quality. |
| `"Fullstack"` | Implements work across the whole stack. |
| `"Frontend"` | Implements frontend work only. |
| `"Backend"` | Implements backend work only. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
