# CodePipelineHumanInteractionRequest

A question an agent asked a person during a step. The step, and the run, wait until it is answered. A step can ask several.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| `id` | `uuid` | The question's id. Pass it as `requestId` when you answer. |
| `question` | `string` | The agent's question. |
| `context` | `string \| null` | Background the agent gave to help answer the question. |
| `dateRequested` | `datetime` | When the agent asked, in UTC. |
| `suggestedAnswers` | [`CodePipelineHumanInteractionSuggestedAnswer`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/code-pipeline-human-interaction-suggested-answer.md)`[] \| null` | Answers the agent suggests. You can pick one or write your own. |
| `answer` | `string \| null` | The answer. Null until it is answered. |
| `dateAnswered` | `datetime \| null` | When it was answered, in UTC. Null until then. |
| `answerAuthor` | [`CodePipelineHumanInteractionAnswerAuthor`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/code-pipeline-human-interaction-answer-author.md)`\| null` | Who answered. Null until it is answered. |
