# CodePipelinePhaseExecutionStatus

Where a phase of a code pipeline run is.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"NotStarted"` | The phase hasn't started. |
| `"WaitingForDependencies"` | Not currently set: a phase waiting for the phases it depends on shows `NotStarted`. |
| `"RunningPreHook"` | The phase's `preHook` is running. |
| `"Running"` | The phase's steps are running. |
| `"RunningPostHook"` | The phase's `postHook` is running. |
| `"Finished"` | The phase finished. |
| `"Error"` | The phase failed. |
| `"Skipped"` | The phase was skipped, for example by its `onFailHook`. |
| `"PreviousCompleted"` | Not currently set. |
| `"HumanInteractionRequired"` | The phase is waiting for a person to answer an agent's question. |
| `"HumanInteractionComplete"` | Not currently set for a phase. |
| `"Cancelled"` | The phase was stopped part-way because the run was killed, not because it failed. A killed run can be resumed. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
