# ConnectorBinding

A fixed value for one field or parameter of a tool's calls. The model never sees or chooses a bound value.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests and responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `target` | `string` | What the value fills: a request body field (separate the names of a nested field with `/`), or a path or query parameter, depending on which list the binding is in. Constraints: required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `value` | `string` | The value, as text. Constraints: required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
