# CredentialKind

How a credential authenticates.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"ApiKey"` | One or more API keys, tried in order. |
| `"OAuth"` | An OAuth sign-in, such as a coding agent's subscription. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
