# CredentialModel

A model a credential may serve.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests and responses. In a request it is called `CredentialModelInput`.

## In a request

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `model` | `string` |  | The model, as runs name it (for example `gpt-5` or `claude-sonnet-4-5`). |
| `deploymentName` | `string \| null` |  | The name the endpoint knows it by, where that differs (an Azure or Foundry deployment). |
| `contextWindowTokens` | `integer \| null` |  | The context window the endpoint gives it, where that's smaller than the model's own. |

## In a response

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.
