# DeferredToolCall

A tool call that waits its turn: when a model asks for several tool calls at once and one of them needs approval, the calls after it wait here and run, in order, once that approval is decided.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| `toolCallId` | `string` | The model's id for the call. |
| `functionName` | `string` | The name of the tool the model called. |
| `argumentsJson` | `string` | The arguments the model gave, as JSON text. |
| `agentId` | `uuid` | The id of the agent that made the call. |
| `agentName` | `string` | The name of the participant that made the call. |
