# ExecutionTriggerType

What triggered an automation.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"Schedule"` | One of its schedules. |
| `"Message"` | One of its message triggers: another run changed. |
| `"Manual"` | Someone triggered it by hand. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
