# FindResultEntry

One file or directory a find matched.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `path` | `string` | Full path to the file or directory within the file system. |
| `type` | `string` | Entry type: "file" or "directory". |
| `size` | `integer` | File size in bytes (0 for directories). |
| `dateModified` | `datetime` | When it was last modified (UTC). |
| `grepMatches` | [`GrepMatch`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/grep-match.md)`[] \| null` | Grep matches found in this file. Null if `grep` was not specified. |
| `preview` | `string \| null` | Preview of file content (the first `previewLines` lines). Null if `includePreview` was false. |
