# InteractionInputType

The type of value an interaction input takes.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in requests and responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"String"` | Text. |
| `"Integer"` | A whole number. |
| `"Decimal"` | A number that may have a fractional part. |
| `"Boolean"` | true or false. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
