# InteractionStreamUserNotification

What the `interaction-process-stream` event carries: a piece of an agent's reply as the model writes it, or the name of a tool it is calling. Best effort: pieces are never replayed, so read the run for the full text.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| `stream` | `string` | The new text: the next piece of the reply, or the tool's name. |
| `sequence` | `integer` | A number that orders the pieces of a reply, in case they arrive out of order. |
| `associatedId` | `uuid` | The id of the interaction run. |
| `agentName` | `string` | The name of the participant that is writing. |
| `date` | `datetime` | When the piece was written, in UTC. |
| `type` | [`AiStreamingMessageType`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/ai-streaming-message-type.md) | Whether this is reply text or a tool call. |
