# LoomCreateRequest

Creates a loom in a namespace.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `name` | `string` | yes | The loom's name, unique within its namespace. Constraints: maxLength: 250, minLength: 3, required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `namespaceId` | `uuid` | yes | The namespace to create it in. Constraints: required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `description` | `string \| null` |  | What the loom is for, in your own words. Constraints: maxLength: 2000. |
| `settings` | [`LoomSettingsInput`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/loom-settings.md#in-a-request)`\| null` |  | Night weaving, quiet period and weaver model. Absent: the defaults. |
