# LoomSettings

A loom's settings: whether night weaving runs, how long it waits for quiet, and which model it uses. A field left null takes its default.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests and responses. In a request it is called `LoomSettingsInput`.

## In a request

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `nightWeaving` | `boolean \| null` |  | Whether night weaving consolidates this loom once its conversations go quiet. Null means on. |
| `quietMinutes` | `integer \| null` |  | Minutes of quiet after the last turn before night weaving may begin: 1 to 1,440. Null means 15. |
| `weaverModel` | `string \| null` |  | The name of the model night weaving thinks with. Null: the bound agent's own model. |

## In a response

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| `effectiveQuietPeriod` | `timespan` | The quiet period night weaving waits for, with the default and limits applied. Set by Maitento. |
