# LoomUpdateRequest

Changes a loom's name, description or settings. Send only what changes.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `name` | `string \| null` |  | Absent keeps the current name, as does the loom's own name sent back unchanged. Constraints: maxLength: 250, minLength: 3. |
| `description` | `string \| null` |  | Absent keeps the current description; an empty string clears it. Constraints: maxLength: 2000. |
| `settings` | [`LoomSettingsInput`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/loom-settings.md#in-a-request)`\| null` |  | Absent keeps the current settings. |
