# McpConnectorVersion

One version of an MCP connector.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `destructiveHint` | `boolean \| null` | The MCP tool annotation `destructiveHint`: whether the tool may destroy or overwrite data. |
| `idempotentHint` | `boolean \| null` | The MCP tool annotation `idempotentHint`: whether repeating a call with the same arguments has no further effect. |
| `openWorldHint` | `boolean \| null` | The MCP tool annotation `openWorldHint`: whether the tool reaches systems outside the server. |
| `readOnlyHint` | `boolean \| null` | The MCP tool annotation `readOnlyHint`: whether the tool only reads and changes nothing. |
| `url` | `string` | The endpoint's URL. For an HTTP connector, `{name}` in it marks a path parameter; for an MCP connector, it is the MCP server's URL. |
| `description` | `string` | What the endpoint does, in a sentence. |
| `requestSchema` | `string \| null` | The JSON Schema of the request body, as text. The model's arguments are checked against it before a call is made. Null: no body is sent. |
| `responseSchema` | `string \| null` | The JSON Schema the endpoint's response must match, as text; null when the response is not checked. |
| `postProcessResponseUnicodeCharacters` | `boolean` | Whether typographic characters in the response (curly quotes, dashes, bullets, the ellipsis) are replaced with plain ones before the response is read. |
| `authenticationType` | [`ConnectorAuthenticationType`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/connector-authentication-type.md) | The kind of credential the endpoint needs. The credential itself is given where a tool uses the connector. |
| `version` | `integer` | The version number, from 1. Every change to a definition adds a new version with the next number. |
| `date` | `datetime` | When this version was created, in UTC. |
| `isDisabled` | `boolean` | Whether this version is disabled. A disabled version is never used: new links and runs take the latest enabled version, and anything pinned to this one fails until it is re-enabled. |
