# ProcessRetentionSource

Where the retention period that applies to a run comes from.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"PlatformDefault"` | The platform's default retention period; the tenant has no override. |
| `"TenantOverride"` | The tenant's own retention period, set by the platform operator. |
| `"ResumeWindow"` | A failed or killed code pipeline run's resume window (7 days), which is longer than the tenant's retention: such a run can still be resumed, so it is never purged before the window closes. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
