# ProcessUpdatedSummary

What the tenant-wide `process-updated` event carries: a short summary of any run in the tenant that changed, the same shape for all four kinds of run. It never includes a run's conversation, steps, output or inputs; fetch the run when you need them.

`schemaVersion` goes up only for a change an existing reader would misread; new fields can appear without it. Ignore fields you don't know.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| `dateCreated` | `datetime \| null` | When the run was created, in UTC. |
| `dateStarted` | `datetime \| null` | When the run started, in UTC. |
| `dateEnded` | `datetime \| null` | When the run ended, in UTC; null while it is live. |
| `dateUpdated` | `datetime` | When the run last changed, in UTC. |
| `parentProcessId` | `uuid \| null` | The id of the run that started this one, or null. |

| `rootProcessId` | `uuid \| null` | The id of the run at the top of this run's tree. |
| `userCreatedById` | `uuid \| null` | The id of the user who started the run. |
| `awaitingHumanInput` | `boolean` | Whether the run is waiting for a person: an answer, a message or an approval. |
| `failureSummary` | `string \| null` | A short summary of what went wrong, at most 300 characters; null when nothing did. |
