# ScheduledContractChangeKind

Why a contract change waits for the renewal.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"Downgrade"` | A move to a lower tier, fewer lanes or a monthly plan. |
| `"Cancel"` | A cancellation: the tenant moves to Free at the end of the term. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
