# SecretUpdateRequest

Renames a secret, replaces its value, or both.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `name` | `string` | yes | The secret's name. Constraints: minLength: 1, required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `value` | `string \| null` |  | A new value, kept exactly as sent. Null or omitted: the stored value is kept. Constraints: minLength: 1. |
