# ThreadCutRequest

Cuts a thread: its words are released and a knot remains, with why it was let go.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `acknowledgment` | `string` | yes | Why the thread is let go. The knot keeps it. Constraints: required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `essence` | `string \| null` |  | What remains after release. Optional: some things are let go entirely. |
