# ThreadOriginKind

Who or what wove, cut or reframed a thread.

**Kind:** a string enum, used in responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"Manual"` | A person or a program, through the API, an SDK or the CLI. |
| `"Agent"` | An agent, with its own `LoomWeave` tool. |
| `"Weaver"` | The loom's weaver, automatically, from a conversation turn (when the interaction's loom weaves in `Auto` mode). |
| `"NightWeaver"` | Night weaving: episodes, themes, dream logs. |
| `"Script"` | A Cogniscript app. |
| `"Seed"` | Copied in when the loom was seeded from another, the first time an agent woke with it. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
