# ThreadRecallRequest

Searches a loom's threads by meaning and by words, the way an agent recalls.

**Kind:** an object, used in requests.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `query` | `string` | yes | What to look for. Constraints: maxLength: 2000, required (empty or whitespace-only strings are rejected). |
| `kinds` | [`ThreadKind`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/thread-kind.md)`[] \| null` |  | Only threads of these kinds. Absent: every kind. |
| `limit` | `integer` |  | The most threads to return, 1 to 50. Defaults to 8. Constraints: range: 1..50. |
| `subjects` | `string[] \| null` |  | The people present: threads about them rank higher. |
| `recencyBias` | `number \| null` |  | 0 = salience only; 1 = strongly favour recently used threads. Absent: the loom's default. Constraints: range: 0..1. |

## Example

  "kinds": [
    "Semantic"
  ],
