# ThreadStrand

Whether a thread is foundational (warp) or contextual (weft).

**Kind:** a string enum, used in requests and responses.

## Values

| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| `"Weft"` | Contextual threads woven across the warp: experiences, facts, skills. Weft can fray. |
| `"Warp"` | Foundational threads that never fray: relationships, identity, core truths. |

New values can appear, so treat one you don't know as "something else", not as an error.
