# UsageSeries

One measure over time, in UTC buckets, optionally split by a dimension into the largest groups and one "other" series.

**Kind:** an object, used in responses.

## Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are `null`.

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `from` | `datetime` | The start of the range, in UTC. |
| `to` | `datetime` | The end of the range, in UTC. |
| `bucket` | `string` | The bucket size: `hour`, `day` or `week`. |
| `metric` | `string` | The measure. |
| `groupBy` | `string \| null` | The dimension the series are split by, or null for one total series. |
| `buckets` | `datetime[]` | Every bucket's start (UTC), including empty ones; each series' values line up with these. |
| `series` | [`UsageSeriesLine`](https://docs.maitento.com/reference/types/usage-series-line.md)`[]` | The series. |
