CompactionType
How an interaction summarises older parts of its conversation once it nears the model’s context window.
Kind: a string enum, used in requests and responses.
Values

"SameAgent" | The agent summarises its own conversation. Usually the best summary, since the agent already understands it, but an agent with strict instructions may refuse. |
"StandaloneAgent" | A separate call, without the agent’s instructions, writes the summary, so one is always made. It loses the agent’s own understanding. |
"None" | No summaries: the conversation is only trimmed. |
New values can appear, so treat one you don’t know as “something else”, not as an error.
