InteractionProcessContextSummary

A summary of the earlier conversation, written when it neared the model’s context window. It stands in for every item up to coveredUpToSequence: those items are kept, but the agents no longer see them. Only the latest summary (the one covering the most) counts.

Kind: an object, used in responses.

Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are null.

Field	Type	Description
summary	string	The summary text.
coveredUpToSequence	integer	The summary stands in for every item whose sequence is at most this.
tokensBefore	integer	Roughly how many tokens the summarised part of the conversation took.
tokensAfter	integer	Roughly how many tokens the summary takes.
model	string	The model that wrote the summary.
sequence	integer	The item’s position in the run’s conversation. Sort every item in context by it to read the conversation in order.
author	InteractionProcessContextAuthor	Who wrote the item.
date	datetime	When the item was written (UTC).
threadId	string | null	The conversation thread the item is on. Null is the main thread, the conversation the participants share. Every other thread belongs to one participant: private:<participant> (a managed agent’s private conversation with its manager), dispatch:<participant>:<id> (one dispatch’s working) and question:<participant>:<id> (how a participant reached its answer to a direct question).
