How a recorded build attempt ended.
Kind: a string enum, used in responses.
Values

"Succeeded" | The build succeeded (and, for a deploy, was deployed): its log has no Error entry. |
"Failed" | The build ran and failed, with a compile, reference or validation error in its log, or it failed unexpectedly (isFaulted). |
"Rejected" | The request was refused before it could build (a 400 such as “nothing to build”); see validationFailures. |
New values can appear, so treat one you don’t know as “something else”, not as an error.
