The coding tool (engine) that drives a code pipeline agent, and so which provider’s model key it uses.
Kind: a string enum, used in requests and responses.

"Codex" | OpenAI’s Codex CLI, with an OpenAI key. |
"DeepSeek" | The Codex CLI, pointed at DeepSeek, with a DeepSeek key. |
"Gemini" | Gemini CLI, with a Gemini key. |
"Qwen" | Qwen Code, with a Qwen key. |
"Glm" | The Codex CLI, pointed at GLM (Z.ai), with a GLM key. |
"CustomAnthropic" | Your own Anthropic Messages-compatible endpoint, driven by Claude Code. |
"CustomOpenAiResponses" | Your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint that implements the Responses API, driven by the Codex CLI. |
"CustomOpenAiChat" | Your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint with chat completions only, driven by Qwen Code. |
New values can appear, so treat one you don’t know as “something else”, not as an error.
