PendingToolCallApproval

A tool call waiting for a person’s approval before it runs. Approve or reject it by its id.

Kind: an object, used in responses.

Fields

Every field is present in a response; empty ones are null.

Field	Type	Description
id	uuid	The approval’s id: pass it as toolCallApprovalId to approve or reject the call.
functionName	string	The name of the tool the agent called.
argumentsJson	string	The arguments the agent gave, as JSON text.
toolCallId	string	The model’s id for the call.
dateRequested	datetime	When approval was asked for (UTC).
status	PendingToolCallApprovalStatus	Whether the call is still waiting, or was approved or rejected.
agentId	uuid | null	The id of the agent that made the call. The approved call runs with that agent’s tools.
agentName	string | null	The name of the participant that made the call.
